The beginning of the story was actually pretty boring because it was just a bunch of people receiving letters from a man by the name of Owens. Most of the people were arriving by train, but a few of them were arriving by car or other means of transportation. When they meet up in the town that they were instructed to by Owens, they start to realize that they are going to the same place, especially when they all board the boat to Soldier Island. In the house on Soldier Island they meet Mrs. And Mr. Rodgers, Owens so called servants. My favorite part so far is when the recording plays and says that each person there is guilty of murder and gives each date the murders occurred and who was killed. Judge Wargraves inquires if all the accusations from the recording were true, they were but were considered accidents. Wargraves figures out that Rodgers put the recording on and up to the wall but he said he was instructed to by Mr. Owens and didn’t know what was on the record. After some time they figure out that U.N. Owens was a fake name and simply means unknown. So far the story is pretty interesting and seems quite suspenseful. My favorite character is probably the judge because he is figuring out stuff and hold order amongst the people on Soldier Island. The character I like the least is probably Mr. Rodgers because he is working for the unknown person. I think he is U. N. Owens and he is waiting to make his move on his guests trapped on Soldier Island
